Old news: it is related to a dutch site: (im dutch)

Its about a training for communication students, and you can see several projects of these students. One student made something about the Revolution controller and now it started it own life.

However it seems like it has a notebook toutchpad, and that is something nintendo could implement on its controller, but rather unlikely tough.

I'm definitely calling hoax. Nintendo said they didn't want to scare off non-gamers / casual gamers. Well, that sure as hell won't get my grandmother to play Nintendo (then again, she totally 0wns me at Puzzle Bobble on N64...so who knows).

The problem is that the number of hoaxes are only going to spiral insanely out of control now that a fixed date has been set :/

I'm betting the REAL revolutionary controller will be this massive button that you mash down with your fist and the console intuitively knows what you meant to do. Yeah.

This is puzzling.
On the one hand, many of the details of the controller are here, in one place, with brief descriptions of everything. On the other hand, mispellings abound (perhaps due to a poor translation?) and some feels askew, as if this is not the final, final controller.

Nevertheless, I was intrigued by all the ideas to be found in this one piece of hardware.

I wish it's the real thing. Could do pretty much anything with that. We'll see in ~3 weeks.

Besides, it's 2 weeks old.

This was proven fake a while ago.

The text is word for word from a Sony PDF.

Here's a side by side comparison.

Sorry folks.

Yeah it's prolly fake. Nintendo did mention a few months ago that it would not have a d-pad or a & b buttons, although it was only a rumor. I'm sure that the Revolution controller will look nothing like the current GameCube controllers anyway.

That seems like an interesting concept, but probably a hoax. Wasn't Nintendo the company saying that there were already too many buttons on controllers? Now look at all the buttons and swirly things they would have if this was real.

Why even run a story that's so obviously a hoax?

'Fixed date' you people say!? The supposive 'date' for the controller information came from SPONG people... Do the math.

Blarrrg:

My apologies. I heard that the SPOnG rumour had been confirmed. I stand to be corrected as I didn't confirm the confirmation myself ;)

TGS or SpaceWorld, I reckon we'll hear SOMETHING soon - it'd be in Nintendo's best interests (from a certain point of view). It'll allow them to get an aggressive marketing campaign off the ground to ensure the media doesn't forget about them as they seem to have done in the big XBox 360 Vs PS3 debate.
