As noted a moment ago, Sony has
finally launched the PSP in Europe, over five months after the portable games device launched in the United States.
(Side note: this does not bode well for a well-coordinated worldwide rollout for the PS3.)
In the interests of cultural exchange, we conduct a visual tour highlighting some of the rollouts in various European countries. If you know of the locations of more photos from the European launch, drop a comment and we'll update the post.
In London, gamers endured the typical (but unnecessary) long lines, with the fellow pictured here waiting 12 hours for the device. His wait looks decidedly more comfortable than the freezing rain that NYC fans had to endure. A September launch is more humane everywhere.
