The Portable Dreamcast

Portable Dreamcast Mod 425

So this isn't exactly new (we must have missed it when it came out back in January), but if you haven't taken sides in the battle between the PSP and DS already then check out this conversion of a Dreamcast into a portable gaming console. This is the latest mod from the owner of portablesystems.net, Dave. He's already created portable versions of the Jaguar and the original Playstation and is currently working on Gamecube, N64 and NES 8bit variants. Naturally you'd assume that none of these systems are or ever will be for sale. But there you're wrong, because they are. They're not exactly priced competitively with the DS or even the PSP, but they do include a 5" LCD screen as well as battery powered portability. Orders are on a first-come first-serve basis and will take around 2 weeks to ship once Dave has finished your hand-made portable console. Awesome work Dave, now about that Xbox version; What do you mean 9lbs isn't portable?!

[Thanks, Drew]
