'Universal' PSP firmware unloader on verge of release

PSPMaxconsole.net has put up two videos of a PSP firmware unloader that will work for all PSP firmware versions. This will be welcome boost for any of you homebrew fans that have been holding out on upgrading your firmware to the v2.0 spec. Once this utility is released you'll be able to take advantage of the v2.0 features as well as play your favorite homebrew apps.

The utility will be out just as soon as the WAB and PSP-dev guys are sure that the unloader won't completely fry your PSP. Unfortunately this unloader is the kind that completely removes the past firmware upgrade, which means you'll be upgrading and unloading constantly to run older homebrew apps. So, around two weeks from the US v2.0 release, the haXX0rs have done it again. Isn't it about time Sony just accepts the fact that people will find a way to play homebrew apps on their PSP?
