To this day I don't think Capcom has gotten online matches to work well. Then I tried SvC Chaos on Xbox and it still lags. Honestly, I think fighting games need to be extremely responsive in order to work, and that's something that just doesn't bend for online. Even when I had good matches going on SvC Chaos or SF Collection, there was a noticable lag in my moves. I generally had to do my quarter circles at half speed for the game to register it.

Dream on, Choi. As much as I look forward to this and Guilty Gear Judgement, I'm pretty sure I'll be Ad-Hoc'ing it 100% of the time.

As long as they can improve upon the lackluster controls that bogged down Darkstalkers Chronicles, this could get me to use a PSP as a game console again.

"Dream on, Choi." Sigh. I guess I've always been a dreamer. =)

I'd tattoo if not for the disturbing notion that they'll still be there when I'm seventy.

It's "Street Fighter Alpha 3 Double Upper" and no, it isn't a working title. It's seen as a psudo sequel to "Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper" - the GBA port (released minus the 'Upper' in the US, though left in the ingame logos).

So you know... get your info straight.

Hey, Chris. GameSpot listed the "working title" as Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, so that's what I went by:

http://www.gamespot.com/psp/action/streetfighteralpha3/news_6132531.html

As the GBA port here in America was officially/publicly known simply as Street Fighter Alpha 3, there's a good chance the extra suffixes will be dropped in the American release of the PSP version as well:

http://gameboy.ign.com/objects/016/016476.html

I can't predict the future, but there's some decent precedent that's been set in the past. As I'm primarily concerned with the American release, the American name's what I'll be going with. Hope that clears up any confusion.

"hahaha - YATA!"
"ROUND - ONE - FIGHT!"

*smacks ken in the mouth and he dies, slow mo kicks in*
"uuuuuuoooooooooohhhhhhhhh" *thud bounce thud*

The sounds are classic man. I played it non-stop on SNES, didn't realize there were PS1 incantations. I guess SF Alpha(those always take place in the past btw)? Still, Capcom has upgraded the sounds, play games like SF Anniverary or Marvel vs Capcom2. Sounds effects and music are great. I get all weepy over hearing Ken's BG music everytime I hear it, or the very quiet "tick - tickticktick" at the begining of the Bath house. "OOO HOY!"

"Oo-wahr! Oo-wahr!" (<--Uh, reference to Blanka...)
"You - win! ...Per-fect!"

Yeah, I used to play all the time on my Genesis, too (Championship Edition all the way, baby), but SFA3 for the PlayStation was one of the best purchases I ever made. (If only I could beat the boss survival mode...) The Anniversary Collection was nice, but I wish they preserved all the stage backgrounds from every SF2 incarnation. I guess I'll be getting my wish with the Capcom Classics Collection (another purchase), but getting Final Fight, Ghosts 'n Goblins, and three 194X games should make it worth it. What's that? No online component?! Maybe it's time to go home and be a family man. =)
