Microsoft loves this two-version idea: first the console, then Xbox
Live, and now its flagship title. Customers wanting to
pick up Rare's Perfect Dark Zero can now decide between the
standard and Collector's Edition of the game. For just $10 more, you can get, along with the game itself, a mini comic
book, a holographic card (one of nine – gotta catch 'em all!), and a bonus disc including behind-the-scenes video and
pictures that can be used on Xbox Live.
We have seen this trend in full force on DVD's for some time now, and
other
recent collector's editions have shown this to be a rising
trend in video games. If more video games were to be released in two version, what would you like to see as a bonus in
the "collector's edition"?
