Woman murders game addicted fiancé
A Beijing woman has been charged with the
August 6th murder of her fiancé. The Beijing Morning Post reports that she was fed up with her man for
spending "too much time playing online games," instead of finding a job to pay for their wedding. Apparently, she
wasn't interested in referring him to a clinic. Looks like China needs to enforce those
MMOG time-limits after all…

"Just leaving him was not an option? She had to murder him?"
She was trying to prove to him that she was into first person shooters, but she slightly misunderstood the concept behind the phrase after translation.

Tin-foil hat:
Maybe she just murdered him for regular reasons, and the Chineese authorities told her she'd get a lighter sentance if she said she did it because of video games. She gets a light sentance, they get a low-resistance transfer to the new "game time" system, 'because we're doing it for your safety!'. Win-win! Oh wait...
Like I said; just conspiracy thinking. Anyone who's actually been to China care to say if this is plausible?
