Whether or not you feel the Game Boy Micro is worth the steep price (most of you do
not), one thing is clear: this new portable is intended
for the non-gamer who could care less if they are getting their money's worth – it is the same crowd that would buy
more than one iPod just because they can. Nintendo is banking on the design of the Micro, hoping that they have made a
stylish enough system that will sell itself.
The US packaging for the system (set for release September 19th) will put the console front and center, just above two
extra (and extra colorful) faceplates. The box is definitely a refreshing change from the normal square shape – that
is, if you are the kind of person who chooses systems because of their box.
