Back in 1993, Sega released Landstalker, the Genesis' answer to the Zelda franchise. Obviously, Lyle, the
game's hero, didn't have Link's staying power, but Landstalker is still regarded as one of the best
action-RPGs of its era. Now, it's being remade (yes, another remake) for the PSP.
The new version will feature a fully 3D world, and the game's director/producer Ken Naito has promised a level of
difficulty that surpasses today's standard action affair. While only 10% complete, Landstalker ("The Remake")
is due out next spring (in Japan)—no US/European details have been announced.
