It would have been a bit difficult for them to rock an
EyeToy for the PSP (though we know they did have a
camera prototype), so instead Sony took a page out of
Nintendo's book with vocal game interaction and announced the Talkman for the PSP. Available in Japan in November for
¥5,800 (about $50), it should be able to translate to understand Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean—you know, the
important languages. Seriously though, anyone else see the humor in a bird asking for the "duty-free store?" No?
Fine.

Amen about comment 7 jc.
I really am sick of people only buying from one company out of some strange belief that the company will reward them for their loyalty, it's ridiculous! By doing this they're missing out on a lot of great ideas from other companies. Variety breeds innovation, and for variety you need several companies, competing with each other. So how about all you die-hard fan-boys stop trying to bring about a video game dictatorship already!

Does a "fanman" exist? What about "fangirl" or "fanwoman"? If no, does that mean that we have absolutely no females on Engadget? How sad.

NONONO this has nothing to do with COPYING nintendo at all. sony stated that a mic, preferrably for online games, would be realeased for the psp before the psp was even released.
This sounds cool but i still want to hear about the usb minikeyboard for the psp. anyone got a link to that?
