Dead or Alive 4 launching with the Xbox 360 in Japan
Tecmo has announced at the Tokyo Game Show that
Dead or Alive 4 will arrive in Japanese stores with the launch of the Xbox 360 on December 10.
This dispels any rumors that the next game in Team Ninja's Xbox-moving series will be released sometime after launch,
but still within the loosely-defined launch window that still troubles some first-generation titles for the 360.
Whether this translates into a perfectly timed Western release with the 360 hardware or not has unfortunately not been
confirmed. That, of course, hasn't stopped most retailers from posting
their
best
guesses as to when the game will be released online.
Considering the increased sales numbers that should result from having such a beautiful title available at launch (see
Dead or Alive 3 for the original Xbox), we expect DOA4 to be on U.S. store shelves bright and early
come November 22.

Sexiness...:)
Now, no jagged polygon edges. Makes the breasts better.

Is this the game that makes the 360 fun?

"Is this the game that makes the 360 fun?"
No. Unfortunately, no games will make the 360 fun. Make sure not to buy a 360. If you do, even if you buy every single game, you will not have fun. Only the other next gen consoles will be fun. And suicide. Suicide is fun. Weeeeeeee.

Does anyone else think that DOA kind of sucks? The game is just a button basher. I suggest sticking with games like Street Fighter or Tekken. The only thing that DOA has are the graphics and girls.

Personally opinion..I think the DOA Beach Volleyball on XBOX was funner than the DOA on XBOX after playing both at a friend's house

DOA is a deceptively simple game for the newcomer to pick up and play. It is however a deep enough game for those that master it's attacks and counters to play. Only the amateurs button mash on DOA and they always lose to someone who truly knows how to play it. Street fighter is a series of timed button combos and tekken lacks depth in the countering system. To watch it played in Japan is to watch a totally different game. Don't diss a game because you don't understand it or are not good at it. Madden is clearly a good game, and one that I suck at horribly. It's not the game it's just me. There is a reason DOA is the World Cyber Games fighting game and not tekken.

"The game is just a button basher."
The whole countering system makes this game LESS of a button masher than any other fighting game out there. Playing DOA2 on Dreamcast was freakin' sweet.

The countering system is... simple. If you know how to counter and grab, you can win easily. Also, Street Fighter and Tekken are both in EVO2k. DOA however, is not.
