WIN blogger unveils guide to PSP hacks

Fellow WIN blogger, C.K. Sample III, has revealed that he's found a publisher for his first book on the subject of hacking the PSP. The 200 page book will cover over 50 tips, tools and hacks for tweaking the ultimate wireless console. C.K. has been compiling the best of the best hacks over the summer and is finally ready to release his work.
So what can we expect to learn from this book? Well, knowing C.K., it's pretty much assured that there will be some
eccentric hacks included, since this is coming from the guy that created an
eye gouging stand for the PSP out of an Ikea lamp. Some
of the less dangerous tips will include how-tos on chatting in IRC with the PSP and using the PSP to read web comics,
ebooks, and RSS feeds.
The book comes in at $24.95US or $34.95CA and you can place an order at
this link.

I've been reading some comics on my PSP, but unless you downsample the ones on bittorrent, the rendering is slooow. I have an automator job to downsample most of the comics, but I need to tweak it a little to make sure they stay in order.
IRC would be a neat trick, but... using the silkscreened keyboard?

Hey, InfoMofo,
Actually, the IRC has it's own little QWERTY keyboard along the top. Not as great as an actual keyboard attachment would be, but better than the default overlay keyboard.

Awesome, I'll just wait until this is hacked into an ebook ;)

Also check out my new book, "Hacking the PSP," another hacks book :) I'm no n00b to the PSP hacking, having written Browser2PSP (at www.hackingpsp.com), done a few hardware hacks (you'll see), and a lot of other neat stuff... If you have any suggestions for the book, I'd like to know! Just email me from my other book's web site, Geek My Ride, www.geekmyride.net. This has been a really fun book to write! Stay tuned!

Ack, I forgot to mention... it's being published by Wiley and you can find it on Amazon now (altho it's not out until Dec/Jan).
Again, if you have any suggestions or hacks for the book, I'd like to know!
Best,
