divisions, has narrowed down to the final two. In what is
more or less a popularity contest (winners are chosen via a poll in their main page), the GameFaqs Summer 2005
Character Battle is the gamer's rendition of the NCAA tournament bracket. Mario toppled Snake and Crono championed Mega
Man to make it to the top, and now only one can come out victorious.
Mario has about a 7% lead right now in the polls, so
if you want to sway the poll any which way, go vote now! The contest ends
tonight, and the winner will join the Tournament of Champions with Link, Cloud, and Sephiroth – who will, presumably,
face off in another seasonal contest at GameFaq's.
