A week ago, we asked you which game system grabbed the majority of your gaming time in the most recent 60-day period based purely on time spent. The results are in, and Microsoft's Xbox console leads by a slim margin.
Approximately 21% (or 1,102) of our readers said that the Xbox console had managed to occupy most of their gaming time, followed closely by the Nintendo DS with 20%, the PC/Mac platform with 18%, and the PSP with 15%. Though the Xbox's 80-vote lead over the Nintendo DS is nothing to crow about, its lead over Sony's rival PlayStation 2 console is considerable. The PS2 was chosen by only 10% of respondents, just ahead of the Nintendo GameCube's 9% showing.
We'll run this poll again periodically. We're betting the release of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories for the PSP (as well as the Xbox 360 release) will shake things up a bit.
