Dragon Quest VIII to ship with Final Fantasy XII demo

Nifty. Now if I could only get them to ship Final Fantasy III and Dragon Warrior IV in an Origins-like package, I'd be set.

I was up in the air about this title, but the FF demo makes it a sure bet.

I hope the dubbing for XII doesn't suck, because they never offer their games with a subbed option. Foreign developers should really start doing that.

Geez, release on the day XBOX360 is launch in the US. Hmm, smells fishy to me I'd say.

Honestly, I'm gonna buy this just for the FFXII demo... Considering I'll have to wait another 9 months for the game.

And dude, FFX's dub wasn't that bad. My only complaint was when yuna would say "No". It seemed really rushed and unnatural, considering she'd say it in the same manner of tone despite it being a soft quiet moment of the game.

FFX was a painful dub in particular, but it is still a dub. They're all made using stand-ins for real actors.

So Square Enix really is on the Sony bandwagon... regardless of any half-gestures of support. I seem to remember another title with an VIII being released on the same day as another new system that also happened to be white a little less than 6 years ago. Killer timing don't you think?

I've been wanting to play a new RPG for a long time now. The last RPG i've played is Final Fantasy X and that was one of the best games i've ever played.

Dragon Quest 8 ain't going to suck... this is the series that had to be released during the weekend in japan so kids and adults wouldn't play hooky
