Gearbox makes another Unreal decision

Gearbox software is quite familiar with Epic Games and its Unreal engine, having previously used it for its Brothers in Arms series, so it should come as no surprise that Gearbox has decided to use Epic Games' beautiful Unreal Engine 3 exclusively for future PC and next-generation console games. Gearbox's first title is, not surprisingly, Brothers in Arms 3 for the PlayStation 3.

The Unreal Engine 3 gets a lot of adoration from developers and fans alike - especially considering the Make Something Unreal contest which gives money to those who make the best mods using their engine, thus training future programmers to love and use Unreal Engines – it is an effective business strategy.
