Hot off the heels of today's
previous Gearbox news comes a few interesting statements
from Gearbox President Randy Pitchford. Mr. Pitchford is quoted, when discussing the Nintendo Revolution, as "looking
forward to making games for it."
This is indeed another bit of good new for Nintendo, as Gearbox this generation did not release a single game for the
Nintendo GameCube, although they did work on PC version of games that graced the Big N's console (007 Nightfire, Tony
Hawk 3). Could we see some Half-Life conversions onto the Revolution? Doubtful, at least from Gearbox – especially
since they have eschewed Source for the Unreal Engine 3.
Still, Gearbox is known for some high-quality first-person shooters, so maybe some great FPS's are in store.
