Spend some time perusing these screenshots and you'll likely learn a few things about the
planned capabilities of the reincarnation of Microsoft's Xbox Live service for the Xbox 360. The Xbox Live marketplace
screen, for instance, indicates that gamers will be able to purchase "memberships" in addition to all sorts of other
downloadable content. What sort of memberships might be sold here beyond Xbox live subscriptions? Will marketplace
serve as a central "account management" feature for subscription-based MMOGs for the Xbox 360?
Any other interesting clues as to features and functionality here? We've seen the Xbox 360 full-screen visualizations that appear when the console's serving as a music player. They're nice, but Microsoft's got a lot of selling to do if they think that consumers are going to drop the now-familiar iPod interface and pick up an Xbox 360 controller or remote to play music at home.
