Sega forms studio to focus on eye-popping visuals
Next April, in preparation for the increasing demand of next-generation eye candy, Sega
plans on opening a studio that focuses entirely on CG – both in-game visuals and pre-rendered FMV's. The studio plans
to work on artwork for Sega games, games from other studios, TV animation, and anything else Sega made need them
for.
The idea of a studio with an exclusive focus on graphics is rather interesting, and Sega's plan to have other studios
use their craftwork (for monetary exchange, of course) is just another
step in Sega's climb back to gaming dominance.

Are you guys even listening? I sent you the link about Gearbox's pledge to work on games for the Revolution. That's some pretty big information, considering how awesome Gearbox is.

I don't know this site has been pretty fucked up lately.

That's a pretty intresting idea. I wonder how if the cost will be worth it, or if certain houses will even begin to think about "outsourcing" their work.

Yeah, the site has been wierd. That post about the back catalog was old news. Like, over a month old.
It is slow now though, with the Rev. contoller heat died down. No more rumors, pictures, speculation on what it is, now we just need games.

I'm making the post now; sorry, I was out to eat and I don't know where everyone else is (it is a friday, after all).
In response to everything else, I really do not know what to say.

It happens, man. Nothing to get down about. Someone just needs to get up and say, "WTF?!". It just happened to be me this time lol.

Good. They need lots of help. Fifth Phantom Saga looks like CRAP.
Sega usually brings the gameplay. The graphics? ...not so much.

Gaming dominance?
They could probably become the next Pixar if they don't set their sights so low as to only think of games.
