Nintendo has finally brought down the price of the Nintendo DS in the UK, to a new recommended retail price of £89.99. Previously the DS was at a £99.99 price level, therefore this is a £10 price drop. Last month Nintendo brought the US price down by $20 to a $129.99 level, so it's good to see a similar cut over here in the land of tea and scones.
It'll be interesting to see what effect the Game Boy Micro will have on the portable market when it's released here on November 4th at an expected price of £69.99. At that price the DS will only be a couple of tenners more than a Game Boy Micro.
