Multiple gameplay videos of Perfect Dark Zero (and a few
other 360 titles) have been unleashed online, underscoring
Microsoft's secret plan to make PDZ the
Halo-style launch title many future Xbox 360 owners have been hoping for. (Note: somewhat ironically, the
video files have been encoded in Apple's QuickTime format.)
[UPDATE: FileFront files gone? In that case, try the
direct-download mirrors of most of the files that have been provided
here and
here. (Unfortunately, this
Windows Media version doesn't look so great, so stick to
the QuickTime originals if at all possible.) Thanks,
Will and PhogHawk! ...All right, only
that huge clip for The Warriors
is missing now. Thanks for putting the rest of the files back up, Zak!]
At any rate, the TeamXbox
forums have been lit ablaze with the bootleg videos placed
online by GI forum-poster
gamestopzak. In the first video leaked
(PDZ1), you can clearly see the words
?Microsoft Confidential? in the right-hand corner for a few seconds, so you know that MS [probably] didn?t intend for
these videos to be made public just yet.
But enough gabbing! Here are two slightly quicker queues to wait in to download the first two PDZ files in
question: PDZ1 and
PDZ2. PDZs
3,
4, and
5 may or may not be playable on your computer
(depending on whether a certain QuickTime video compressor is available, apparently), but watch the
Kameo,
Warriors (10 minutes!), and
Ridge Racer 6 videos if your hunger
for 360 gameplay videos remains unquenched. Hopefully more to come!

PhogHawk.]
