I was the number 2 guy - really number 1 but someone's mom helped them get the number one spot. Nice lady though.

Hahahah,I love this website."

I bet you do, and I love your "defense mechanisms". At least they keep you going.

To all you people responding to OTAM, don't bother!! Especially when he posts someting like this:
http://www.joystiq.com/entry/1234000380059908/

Just keep to the topic and ignore him.

I've already submitted the complaint to Weblogs, Inc. Since I'm pretty sure this falls under inappropriate comments.

OTAM, if we had it our way, we'd drop you off gagged and bound by the hands and feet to your favorite organization. I rather have them have their way on your carcass then any other NYer or NY tourist (like Miyamoto). F'off this site!

Posting in regards to the gaming websites that I have visited within the last 60 days.

1) joystiq.com (great site)
2) cube.ign.com (not so great sire , but they do have some intresting content.)
3) ds.ign.com (same as above)
4) planetgamecube.com (great information on nintendo, a bit slow sometimes)
5)1up.com (these guys have great articles on gaming history and such)

Looking at this list makes me look like a super nerd, But the truth is that I enjoy following the video game industry. I like to see the major players, where it's going what trends are popping up, and how much of a sophisticated bit buisiness it has become (I could go on and on about this but, a post is just a post). I also have a soft spot for Nintendo. I think the new controller is a good move and I'm looking foward to playing thier future games.

Just to let you guys know; the line was poorly organized from the beginning. Nintendo: your store staff was great to us, as was most security and Miyamoto's entourage, but your organizers had no idea what to do with this event, and were ACTIVELY HOSTILE, going so far as to assume we would riot and pre-emptively threaten us with arrest. You know. Just in case. I was an early camper (ninth in line, showed up Saturday afternoon), and security told us to stand across the street. Thing is, as hours passed it became obvious that the staff clearly had no idea what to do about the crowd that was assembling across the street from them (50-75 person range by 9PM, the formal opening of the line).

The first twenty of us were treated as a threat by the (apparent) head of security, who came out to that "this line means nothing", and to warn us that "if you pull any CRAP, I've got cops all over this place!" (a statement he later forcefully denied having made). All the way up until the opening of the line, security was standing inside the building, gesturing towards us, presumably talking about how to handle us. We were treated like criminals. I don't intend to come back to the store, having been treated the way I was.

I asked him if he intended for there to be a mad dash for the line at 9PM in which whoever pushed and shoved the hardest got their spot. He said um, yeah I guess. When 9 came, it took them about twenty minutes to figure out what the hell they were going to do with us. When They took us ten first, and then stood around some more figuring out what they were going to do with the rest. This actually DID result in a mad dash, brought about by the following conversation some time after the first ten of us were in line(paraphrased):

"so what are you going to do about us?"
"i dunno."
"so what's stopping us from crossing?"
"go ahead then."

Otherwise, the event went fine.

I waited in line over six hours and did *not* get to meet Miyamoto. Maybe next time. Anyway, I posted a bunch of photos and video clips on my web site. Have a look:

Send me your photos and I'll add them to the page!

Uh, yeah, I think you need to quit it with the "haha i r evil i lik being evil". I pity you, OTAM. Something inside of me says that you really want to at the very least partake in the community -- but you can't. ;_; teartear, too bad. You could always try -- but then again, you've been doing that for a while, haven't you?

You might as well give up.
