Buena Vista Games, in announcing that they will use the Unreal Engine 3 for their next generation games, also gave
away that the first game to use the engine will be a sequel to everybody's favorite dinosaur hunter, Turok, that will
be released on the Xbox, the Xbox 360, PS2, PSP, and Nintendo DS.
The good news is that there is a new Turok game coming, and that all signs point to it being visually stunning. That
may also be bad news, as the last Turok game, Turok: Evolution, was not exactly
critically praised. With that said, we long
for the day where we can once again be satisfied in hunting down cybernetic lizards with a bow and arrow. Turok on the
Nintendo 64 was a real stunner, and let's hope they can recapture that magic.
