Nintendo literally in the toilet
In our poll asking where your gaming
console is located, reader DigitalFirefly included a photo of his setup which he has conveniently located in a
bathroom closet right across from the most important seat in the house.
You can't live the American dream much better than this folks. This man's just missing a kegerator and a stockpile of Cheetos and he will never have to leave his bathroom again ever.
Just be sure to keep that controller out of harm's way.
What does your gaming setup look like?
[Thanks, DigitalFirefly]

I have my xbox and gamecube in the main living room, where I also have my home entertainment setup. It can be a problem when my wife wants to watch TV, but I also have a DS and a PC in another room.

Damn, that is too funny. After the initial post about where your consoles are located in the home I started thinking about what I could do when we buy our new house (currently shopping for one, and it sucks). I started to think that maybe I could throw a NES or SNES in the bathroom somehow. Mount a LCD in a case that would protect it from condensation running the shower would cause.
I'm looking forward to giving it a go, otherwise I'm just going to throw a few old gameboys in a basket and let 'visitors' have at em.
Nothing like some bathroom gaming, kudos to the guy who sent in the pic.

My bed, sink, living room, dining room, etc are all in one room. I have my PS2, XBOX, Gamecube, Dreamcast, and Genesis all hooked up to my TV. My PC is directly to my left, so when I'm flying somewhere in Azeroth on WOW, I'll usually be killing folks in Halo 2. I wish I had pictures that show how small and pathetic my dorm room is.

Nice. I've just got all 8 consoles lined up in front of my TV in my bedroom. I'm so generic.

My gaming setup - http://www.fiftytwofifty.com/projects/141a/03.htm
My 9'x11' dorm room required some creativity in order to fit three consoles.
20" LCD on the wall, Xbox & 5.1 receiver on the table, PS2 and GameCube underneath.

The sweetest thing about this setup is that you can see a MAX controller on the table. Man those were awesome!
Plicious @ Dec 18th 2005 9:07PM
I have two Xboxes: 1 in my bedroom connected to a 27" Aquos LCD HDTV for when my wife falls asleep so she doesn't whine about me being downstairs. My main set up is in our second livingroom (in the finised part of our basement). I have it set up to a 51" Sony HDTV with surround sound. In the same room I just had a bar put in which has two taps on top that run to my kegerator on the other side of the wall so you can't see it. Usually have Sam Adams (for me) and Coors Light (for the ladies) on tap at all times. I have a dart board which is a must and will be getting one of those table top shuffle board games soon. Holla!

I bought a switch box... and a TV with lots of inputs... My setup includes my GameCube, DreamCast, N64, SNES, NES, and my XBOX. I recently sold my PS2 cause it sucks.
concerned_citizen @ Dec 18th 2005 9:07PM
Am I the only one that thinks that the whole console in the crapper idea is dumb? Im sorry, but that toilet doesnt look very comfortable for anything but business. `and are you that lazy that you cant walk 27 feet to the toilet? To top it all off, who in the hell would want to handle the controller after you??!! In a word......gross.

Two desks, 6 computers (one is my ultimate gaming machine, an old emachines, old custom one, pc in an xbox, g3 mac, dell laptop), 21" monitor for my 4 pc's, 17" monitor for my mac, kvm switch for pcs, 5-port network switch, xbox, ps2, n64, psp w/ lego cradle, 2.1 speaker system with killer bass, leather office chair, dvd's, games, stacks of blank cds/dvds, and last but not least a sony 26" tv for my gaming consoles. Nicest setup i have ever seen.... :)

I keep my xbox hooked up to an old (but good) tv in my room, accross from my bed. For partaies I move it downstairs to the 60in widescreen w/5.1 surround. If there's someone else with an xbox coming, I'll move my room tv down and hook them up.
All this for Halo 2, of course.

Holly shizzle, igibson, that's a crazy setup you got going there!
Edits to my post: my bro has a gamecube in his room, and the surround system in our house is a 5.2, not .1 . The xbox is also always hooked up to the house's wireless network, also.

SWEET! Now that might get me motivated to get out of bed when I need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
