GameSpot recently spoke with Michael Dell during a media event in NYC to announce his company's new gaming machines. In addition to talking about the obvious advantages PCs have over consoles (faster hardware evolution, more capabilities), Dell also suggested the PC platform has a higher level of interactivity and that you don't see games like World of Warcraft on "those kind of devices (consoles)." True, but we also don't see system compatibility errors and the frequent need to download patches and updates. And the faster rollout of more powerful PCs is a double-edged sword: how many people just bought a new high-end PC or Mac two years ago and can't play DOOM 3? Still, you can't really blame a guy for being just a little biased toward the platform that made him one of the 25 richest people in the world. Turns out the billionaire also plays a little WoW from time to time. Slacker.
