Latest Xbox 360 bundle tops $4,000
As if the original Omega bundle ($1,999.69) wasn't enough, GameStop has
once again outdone itself, reissuing "the Omega" for $4,499.68. If you weren't tipped off by the image to the right,
the new bundle features a 42" Plasma TV (Dell). Next up: Xbox 360 w/ 2 bedroom and full bath (utilities not
included).
Here's a thought: File a request to have this installed in the company lounge. Maybe your boss can get a tax write-off…

If anybody buys this, I've lost faith in humanity

Ok first of all you're buying a $2000 xbox 360 bundle. If that's not enough, you're buying a plasma tv from dell. Whats next, buying food at Walmart? oh wait...

I can't wait to see the PS3 bundles.

That's just stupid, why why why why why?

This is not that bad. I mean, I'm sure people would buy this, just like some people would buy an Alien ALX system for $6,000+, and NO Screen! And just to point out a few things, the XBOX360 comes with triple core processors at 3.2GHz each with 512MB and a GPU for $400. An Athlon X2 4000+ processor alone cost $400+. What's the big deal?

Awesome! I'm cashin' out my son's college fund, and buying one of these setups for every room of my house!
Oh, wait... "Limit one per customer". Damn.

$4000 later and you still can't play Ghost Recon.
leo @ Dec 18th 2005 10:00PM
wait.... the couch is not bundled with that?? and how about the sound system?? and lifetime supply of food?? gee... do they expect me to stand up and cook something? not when I have a 360 and 42" plasma......
JPRacer @ Dec 18th 2005 10:00PM
Where's the bundle with a cute girlfriend?
booger @ Dec 18th 2005 10:00PM
#3 I was going to say the same thing.
I bet the PS3 bundles while have PSP, the whole Final Fantasy series, a HD Sony WEGA, and anything else they can tack on at some rediculous price.

Everyone is complaining about Gamestop offering this bundle. If you can't afford it, then don't worry about it. I know I have my share of money invested in the 360, but I can't afford it either. I am old enough that I have been raised through all of the generations of video gaming, and it's not just a simple Atari anymore, it's a "media" or "era". Besides, gamestop will be finished consuming EB games at the beginning of the year, so they are "THE" industries giant. If you were the president of a company, you'd try and please the consumer with all of theirs needs as well. This is Fiscal Year 2006...roll with the times.
