A Tecmo source at X05 in Amsterdam has
confirmed that Dead or Alive 4 will feature a secret character from the Halo universe. This is the
first time that Team Ninja has included a character in the DoA series outside of Tecmo boundaries—we've seen
Namco make similar moves in the Soul Calibur series. Including a Halo character is a bold statement,
re-emphasizing Team Ninja's preference for the Xbox 360—and it's also a way to attract some sales from Halo
jocks. We should also note that the source stated that Master Chief will not be the secret character, but declined to
give further details—will it be the Arbiter? We'll keep you posted.

I hope all those MS fanboys that went on about Nintendo pimping Mario out to EA games are tough enough to see that this is exactly the same thing. Chances are i'll read 'But this is different cos Masterchief is awesome' or some thing as utterly stupid. DOA4 will, in my humble and uninformed opinion, be pretty much exactly the same as DOA3, which was almost the same as DOA2. Alright - 1000 more poly's on her boobs! AWESOME

No voting needed, Cortana is the charcater from the Halo universe that Tecmo is using. Remember, Tecmo loves showing SEXY women. Cortana is the only logical choice.

you know, in the trailer for DOA4 towards the end it showed a woman being reanimated and brought to life, Cortana was once a human, maybe she will not be a hologram...

#5 unless you know anything about a game you shouldn't talk. DOA4 is, for one, much faster than any of the previous titles. Making it much better gameplay. Also, there's a lot more enviroment interaction being added. New characters, new online play. Don't say it'll be the same, that's just ignorant.

This makes me a little pissed off because I hope Microsoft doesnt get the idea of making Halo everywhere. This is the reason that I stopped with Nintendo,because it was Mario/Zelda and a mix of other Nintendo characters in just about EVERY game.

OTAM,can you tell me what non-Zelda games have Zelda characters played any huge roles in? There was various cameos that are more "homages" than whoring out the characters. Unless you are whining about Super Smash Bros, which happens to be one of the best new franchises in recent memory? Basically the only one I can think of his Soul Calibur II. There are no Zelda sports games and such like they do to Mario.

I think that it's going to be Cortana due to the fact that on the bungie.net site there is an image with blacked out characters and Cortana is animated in all the right places. While Bungie does not confirm this it makes sense that they are trying to tell us without telling us.

Why would bungie say that it is a secret who the character will be but then give you a big hint because of the bouncing image? they are using reverse phsycology to make you think that because its moving and has boobs it will be it but really it will be a spartan, just you watch!
