Another high-def Dead or Alive 4 video has
popped up on 1UP this past week, this time featuring
exclusive gameplay footage and clocking in at a mere 247MB. Without a suitably advanced PC, however, it's unlikely that
you'll get to experience it in its full intended glory.
For help with playback of the huge file, try changing a few Windows Media Player settings. Unchecking the "Drop frames
to keep AV in sync" box (in the Advanced Video acceleration settings under the Performance tab of the
Tools—>Options) will allow you to catch most frames of animation even as the audio marches on [via
HD Beat]. Changing the Play Speed from Normal to Slow
may help those jerky frames get displayed properly on a less-enabled machine as well.
Of course, it's not a problem to simply view nice
larger
versions of
older
videos, but some trailers really require the
performance boost for anything but the fastest machines. We anxiously await the day when we can stream all these
system-hogging videos to our 360s/PS3s to play on a big screen.

High-res trailers pretty, but tough for older PCs to handle
