As if Sudoku weren't hard enough in paper format, enterprising developers have decided to port
the latest puzzle fad to the PSP and mobile phones. Well, until Nintendo brings their popular "Brain Training"
games to the US, Sodoku is a nice stopgap.
Sony Europe is developing Sudoku for the PSP, according to Edge Online. Apparently, freaks who burn through the initial 1,000 Sudoku puzzles will be able to download additional content for some sort of fee.
Here in the US, Cellufun has announced a free version of Sudoku with no time restrictions for pretty much any Java-enabled mobile handset (Verizon excluded!) and Windows CE-based PDAs. More details on the PSP version here and more info on the mobile phone version here.
