Bungie comfirms Halo 3 script is fake
About 3 hours ago, Bungie addressed the Halo 3
script leak rumors that have been circulating the
Internet, and the answer is, not surprisingly, that the script "is either fake, or the fanfic of a dedicated Halo fan
being passed off as real…it has nothing to do with Bungie or Joseph Staten."
So that settles it, the Halo 3 script is as fake as the pictured box art. The script, although very long, was not as
well written as Bungie or Joseph Staten's previous work. And, just to clarify, the script is definitely not for the
Halo movie either, as Halo scribe Alex Garland has more than
proven himself as a good screenwriter.

I wonder if Halo 3 will be a joke like halo 2. Man, what a flop ;_;

If the script is indeed fake, why did the RWR site get nuked?
It's GONE.

I looked it up on ARIN and it said that it was hosted out of a city in NJ. The ISP no doubt but why is the site GONE?
And if it *is* fake, why not just post it up and say "This scripts is fake because of X, Y, and Z on these pages"
It would be worth reading either way.

It was a great read, though.
Kinda glad it is a fake though. Some of the battles seemed ridiculous considering Halos past.

Well, a fake could be considered something purposfully made to fool others ... where fan fic. would have the intention of just telling a story - which was then picked up or shown off to be a fake
