[UPDATE: Mario Basketball 3 on 3 was among a number of DS
games confirmed by Nintendo in a press conference covered by
Famitsu.com today. Other games
announced include another brain-training game and a Tingle(!) RPG. 3 on 3, in fact, also appears to be

The scans/screens(?) from Famitsu are quickly making their way online once more, and this time they're
focused on what looks to be a Mario-themed basketball
game for the Nintendo DS.
Sure, we've seen Mario in the latest Cube version of NBA
Street, but we need the rest of the genre-crossing crew in a bona fide Nintendo b-ball game. (Don't we?) At
any rate, remembering who's on your team could be a bear without coordinating colors or uniforms, but we imagine that
this would be fixed by the time such a game is out.
So… is this the first visual proof that
Mario Dunk Shot is alive and
well? All we know is that dribbling for coinage has never looked this colorful.
