that they are cute animals and you gotta catch them all. It is an unstoppable power that keeps on growing. Every single
version has sold over one million units, and hot on the heels of Tuesday's release of Pokemon XD: Gale of
Darkness, Nintendo releases a press statement announcing that the Pokemon franchise, as a whole, is "on
the verge of selling its 150 millionth game worldwide." That is quite an accomplish, and demonstrates just how much of
a wise investment the game franchise was for Nintendo - it is a
cash cow that so far has netted them $15
billion dollars over the last decade.
