We're sitting in a panel at the State of Play conference being held at New York Law School in downtown Manhattan right now. One interesting discussion of note that has already occurred is the recounting of a story that happened in Eve Online in which one corporation (a group of players) spent months infiltrating another corporation all the way up to the highest levels of the target corporation.
Once their operatives were in place, the spy corporation assassinated the CEO of the target corporation and effected a complete takeover. They then completely liquidated the assets of the target corporation and raided the guild coffers which were then valued at around $16,000 real dollars.
