The Xbox Lounge, a stylish building Microsoft has
set up in Tokyo to attract Japanese gamers, will open its
doors to the public on the 2nd of November. The Lounge will be filled with – you guessed it – Xbox 360 kiosks, as well
as a giant 200-inch screen for special events and a café for those who are worn out from all the gaming.
Microsoft had previously announced the Lounge as opening in November, but this is the first official date. The Xbox
360 is not even being released in Japan until December 10th, so this is a great opportunity for Microsoft to spur
last-minute pre-order deals and then maintain interest in the console long after its release.
The Xbox 360 is not coming out in the US until November 22nd. Would anyone be willing to fly to Tokyo just to try the
Xbox 360 20 days early?
