Nothing's worse than dropping $50 of your hard-earned cash on a lame product. We'd like to help
you save your money for the important things in life, like beer and MMOG subscription fees, so we'll be publishing
product reviews on Joystiq.
We've already got a few titles and some nifty peripherals from publishers in our hands, but before we drop the products and start banging out reviews, we'd like to get your feedback.
Here are a few questions to help you structure your responses. We'll hold a random drawing in about a week and will send the winner one of the products we review.
Here are the questions (post answers in reply to this blog entry):
-
What publications do you trust for reviews of games? Why do you trust their reviews?
-
Would you consider a review of a game based on the following components to be complete: graphics, sound, gameplay, fun, innovation, multiplayer components, interface, and accessibility?
-
Rank the categories above in order of their importance to you from most important to least important.
-
Is it possible to render a game review after playing a game for just 10 minutes? How about 60 minutes? 2 hours? 20 hours? 100 hours?
Here are the contest rules:
