The first House of the Dead movie was, to be kind,
horrifically abysmal. Not even infamous character actor Clint Howard
could save this movie from the fingers of director Uwe Boll. So it comes as no surprise that, when talking about the
upcoming House of the Dead 2: Dead Aim, those involved with the movie are trying to distance themselves from
the original – especially considering Uwe Boll has nothing to do with the sequel (he has been too busy mucking around
with Dungeon Siege).
Speaking to Sci-Fi Wire, actress
Emmanuelle Vaugier told them that they "are hoping that it's going to be much better than the first one. That won't be
hard." True, but listen to the plot she outlined: "Something's happened, and there are zombies on the loose, and so
we've got to go kill them. And that's pretty much it." Sounds deep, but hey, no Uwe Boll is good news, right?
