JeuxFrance has obtained a copy of a video revealing
the Wi-Fi multiplayer interface
for the upcoming Mario Kart DS, only it's in
Spanish… on a French site. Sorry, no audio, but it appears you can drive as Luigi in his handy vac (from
Luigi's Mansion)?
It's recommended that you "Save Link/Target As…"
this link if the video off the main JF site
presents you with some codec problems. In fact, we might as well point you to the spiffy
DivX Player or BSplayer if the
typical video apps on your computer aren't doin' it for ya.
It seems that the foreign Kart video(s) originated on the DSMag site
here, but they aren't up now. [UPDATE: Find more videos linked in
the next post. Thanks,
Sikaffy!]
[Thanks, Shizzle]

Records: shows your personal stats and a "vs. your friends" stat
Options: has an automatic search for friends "alert" when they come online (like MSN messenger I guess)
Wi-Fi: shows the requirements of wi-fi internet multiplayer: it needs a valid ID from both the SD card and the DS console to access the internet multiplayer. The IDs have to match.
there's also a "Friend's ID" button.
in the Wi-Fi options menu, there's icons for
-Console info
-erase SD card data
-transfer SD card data
in the wi-fi config, it says you can configure up to 3 wireless connections or use the Nintendo USB adapter. I guess it means that you have to go through some process to configure your home wireless router to work with the DS.
that's pretty much all the important stuff. the rest is just normal game menus.

Don't worry, Chava; I distinctly said that JeuxFrance "obtained a copy" of the video(s) that originated on DSMag(azine) in the original post. It's nice to be able to access all of the actual footage, however, thanks to Sikaffy. Any word on the hosting of the files over at DSMag, Chava? All I get when I click on a file is something like the following:
"Not Found
The requested URL /videos/MarioKartDS_ColinasChampinon_DSM.avi was not found on this server."

Seeing these videos made Mario Kart a must-buy for me. There's so many options and it looks like WiFi with it ought to be near flawless. I'm really looking forward to this.

Dan Choi, the Videos gives that error because the Videos are out of the server by a broadband limit in the server, in 15 hours they have the broadband overpassed so they need to offline the Videos and upload it to many UPLOADS website like a RapidShare

Dan Choi, I didn't read it full first time, sorry. 'Bout downloads, there were a lot of downloads from our server and it broke down due to high bandwith use...mirrors:
