TeamXbox has a new trailer for Midway's Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows, due for release in Dec. The Gauntlet franchise has always been popular for its approachable game play, but this iteration is promising deeper RPG elements for more hardcore gamers. Will it be enough to make you put down Oblivion, Dungeon Siege 2, or the Neverwinter expansions? On a side note, Sorrows was originally headed by former id Software and Ion Storm icon, John Romero, but he and Midway have been splitsville since June. Any adverse effect this will have on the game remains to be seen, but given Romero's track record over the past six years, the severance is probably a good thing.
