Do you love the smell of commerce in the morning? Are you tired of building railroads, roller coasters, and zoos? Did you skip Mall Tycoon 1 and 2 due to negative (or nonexistent) reviews? If you answered yes to any of the above, then Global Star Software's Mall Tycoon 3 just might be for you. Mark up the prices in your retail stores, restaurants, and multiplexes and watch the virtual patrons abandon your merchandising empire in droves for Wholesale Tycoon.
Seriously, developer Cat Daddy Games might want to think about evolving this genre and maybe injecting a little Postal into the formula. When a customer tries on every pair of Dockers in the store, messes up all of your neatly folded displays and doesn't buy anything, or if some punk takes one too many chicken teriyaki samples from the Panda Express girl, your mall managers should have some autonomy to act outside standard protocol and kick some gluteus max. Of course, it would no longer be a traditional "sim", and who wants that?? Just remember, the cookie stand isn't part of the food court!
