iDevGames, a group solely dedicated to bringing original games to the Mac platform, has announced the features of its 2005 contest. Every year iDevGames starts a contest called uDevGames, where independent game developers have around two months to create a game. After which time they are released to a voting public for a week. The entries that qualify go through to be judged by a panel of 4-6 nominated judges with expertise in game creation.
This year, the event organisers have announced a special partnership with Freeverse Software. The first prize for the "OMG Cup" (OMG = Original Mac Games) will be a contract with Freeverse to get your game turned into a final product and published. This year's uDevGame contest will surely be a heated one with the announcement of such an attractive prize. To all the Mac gamers out there; get your developing gloves on!
