Video game musicians jailed for their art

Lookin real hard man - you show them coppers you will not be intimidated from your artWhile plastering NYC with flyers for tonight's big 8-bit music concert, musicians Nullsleep and Bit Shifter were nailed by plainclothes police officers who slapped cuffs on 'em and told them that "a cleaner New York is a safer New York" according to blog Music Thing. They were booked for pollutin' and carrying concealed Game Boys.

See, even video game rockstars live dangerously. Hardcore gamerz 4 life, yo.

Luckily they were only in the lockup for three hours. They'll still be able to perform this evening… speaking of which, GO!

[Thanks Haakky]
