Japanese gaming legends talk "Revolution"

Revolution Round Table KnightsHave you ever wondered what Japanese developers thought about the Nintendo Revolution? Well wonder no more, as IGN has a very comprehensive feature detailing the first hand opinions of the biggest names in Japanese games development. The creators of Final Fantasy, F-Zero, Pac-Man, Harvest Moon, Killer 7 and Pokemon all chip in to give their thoughts about Nintendo's latest.

Unsurprisingly they're all pretty hyped up by the console and its controller. Toshihiro Nagoshi, producer of F-Zero, doubts "that there's a creator who doesn't get tickled after getting their hands on this." Hironobu Sakaguchi, the father of Final Fantasy, captured the overall feelings around the console's controller: "When shown such a new concept, software makers are, even as just normal people, left excited." Nintendo can only be hoping that this excitement converts easily into a broad selection of fun and innovative game titles.
