Rumors have been spreading that Halo & Halo 2
will get some form of upgrade for the
next-gen. Now an image of an Xbox 360-branded Halo 2 has surfaced. The box art is identical to the original
besides the Xbox 360 logo across the top. It's also got a PEGI rating, meaning it's designed for the European
market.
It's hard to believe that this is legit; we'd imagine that Microsoft would mix up the box art for an Xbox 360 re-release in order to attract consumers that already own the original. Still, we wonder if an upgraded Halo 2 is in the works. Perhaps backwards compatibility is proving to be too troublesome; or maybe it's just a matter of re-selling Xbox's killer app with a little polish?
