Pac-Man chomps again in World Rally

Namco Hometek has just announced the development of Pac-Man World Rally, a multi-platform kart racer set for Summer release. Our little yellow friend must finally be succumbing to old age (or indigestion) if he needs a set of wheels, although one can hardly argue with his taste in pit crew personnel.
The game will basically involve driving and eating pellets across landscapes from other familiar Namco games with the usual kart modes - battle, time trial, and grand prix. There will also be 15 "classic characters" from the Pac-Man universe. 15? The only other ones I can remember from the classics are Ms. Pac-Man, Blinky, Pinky, Inky, Clyde, and Sue. Maybe Billy Mitchell is on the roster.

Interesting, especially since Pac-Man and some of the ghosts are in the Mario Kart GP arcade game.

That's b/c Namco developed the MK Arcard game...

Come on, now: Mrs. Pac-Man, Baby Pac-Man, Pac-Man Jr., Professor Pac-Man, Chomp Chomp, and Sour Puss (had to go to IMDB for that one). Maybe even Mezmaron will make an appearance?
