Nintendo's biggest blunder since 1985: Joystiq poll

We spend so much time discussing next-gen consoles that it might be fun to take a step back on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Nintendo Entertainment System and take a poll. All companies make mistakes, so we'll run this poll for Microsoft, Sony, and Sega too, in coming weeks.

This is a fun bit of Googling if you're unfamiliar with the history behind some of these items. But we're sure that there are Nintendo trivia buffs out there that know way more than we do. Are we leaving any big mistakes off the list? Use a write-in vote.

Technical mumbo jumbo: this is not a scientific or rigorous poll and is only intended to capture the general consensus of Joystiq readers. Results will be posted approximately one week after the poll is opened for votes. Sure, you probably could hack this poll if you worked at it, but it's more fun for everyone if poll results accurately reflect the opinions of all readers, so please refrain from tampering with poll results.
