Pac-Man given voice, full vocabulary

For the upcoming Pac-Man World 3, everyone's favorite yellow
circle is gaining a new ability: speech. Pro-G news is reporting that Martin T. Sherman will be voicing Pac-Man for the
upcoming console game. Who is Martin T. Sherman? He appears to be a character actor for video games,
according to IMDb, appearing in Driv3r, Second Sight, and Timesplitters: Future Perfect,
among others.
Should Pac-Man be given the ability to speak? After decades of muteness, it seems out of character to give a classic gaming icon, devoid of visual detail, a full vocal range – "wokka wokka" is as fittingly simple as his pizza-shaped design. What other classic gaming character should be given a voice?

Pac-Man could talk in his cartoon series, so this won't be the first time he has the abilitly to speak.

Yeah, I remember that old cartoon, mid-80's I believe. I didn't think it was all that bad then. but it's been about 15-20 years since then.

i actually have mp3's from a vinyl record called "the pacman album" that my friend lauren owns. i should post them. Pac Man speaks and sings it. This is from a very long time ago from what i gather. Ms. Pacman and him do a duet. Some of the songs are actually pretty catchy. but yea pacman is an odd character on this record indeed. it's really weird but extremely funny/entertaining. if anyone is interested in me posting this, let me know.

I have some Pac Man LP's that I got. He sings Christmas songs with his kids and the ghosts. They all become friends.

I remember that cartoon, came from the glut of generic video-game and toy based cartoons in the 80's. Wow, i wish i could buy it in a DVD box se- no... actually, i don't. As i recall, PM had a rather generic "middle aged guy" voice.
Anyone else remember the Pac-Man skit in the middle of The Bloodhound Gang's song "Mope"?

IMDB lists Marty Ingles as the voice of Pac-Man in the 80's cartoon. He's still alive, so I say bring him into the game!

Come on. They can't translate what Qbert's saying and give him a voice. What do you think "$#@%#!" was. He was CURSING! Every time he got stomped he would say "$#@%#!".
