Pac-Man given voice, full vocabulary

Pac Man (225)For the upcoming Pac-Man World 3, everyone's favorite yellow circle is gaining a new ability: speech. Pro-G news is reporting that Martin T. Sherman will be voicing Pac-Man for the upcoming console game. Who is Martin T. Sherman? He appears to be a character actor for video games, according to IMDb, appearing in Driv3r, Second Sight, and Timesplitters: Future Perfect, among others.

Should Pac-Man be given the ability to speak? After decades of muteness, it seems out of character to give a classic gaming icon, devoid of visual detail, a full vocal range – "wokka wokka" is as fittingly simple as his pizza-shaped design. What other classic gaming character should be given a voice?
