Those of you looking to rock to your own tunes in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories can take heart.
Rockstar has just released a custom soundtrack loader that gives you the opportunity to listen to your personal music
collection while roaming the streets of Liberty City. However, while Tony Cipriani has few qualms with committing grand
theft auto, he most definitely does not advocate unauthorized music downloads. For that reason, Rockstar's
software will only rip music straight from store-bought CDs, although IGN readers have pointed out that burning your
music to a CD in iTunes circumvents these safeguards. Also, unlike the custom soundtrack feature in GTA: San
Andreas, listening to your music in Liberty City Stories will function like an ordinary CD player rather
than a dedicated radio station. Oh, and one more thing: the converter ain't Mac-compatible (sorry, Conrad). The rest of
you PC folk can grab the .zip file
right
here.
