Seattle P.D. brushes off Jack Thompson

It's not looking good for Jack "douchebag" Thompson and his ongoing crusade against the games industry. His request the other week for an investigation into Penny-Arcade's alleged harrasment of Jack's ego has been brushed off by the Seattle police department. According to a representative from the police department, the actions committed by Penny-Arcade do not constitute a criminal investigation. More specifically the police department stated "that it hasn't found any crime to prosecute in the matter."
Whilst the police are pretty much sure it's not a matter for the criminal courts, they've not ruled out the
possibility that Jack could attempt to sue the PA. But we all know that Jack would never do that, don't we? Remember
what happened the last time he messed with the Penny-Arcade
readership?

Everyone complains about Jack Thomson but there has always been people like him. In every arts and entertainment form there are people like Mr. Thomson looking to judge or call it morally depraved. There has even been many people who faulted the game industry for decades. You know the difference here? Gamers and the Gaming Media have decided to focus on him and give him the press he desires. He faxes something and it's on every gaming news site, blog or forum. Everyone is up in arms, "There is crazy person who hates our hobby, and he's a lawyer!".
STOP. TALKING. ABOUT. HIM.
You wouldn't have to complain so much if you realize nothing he says had any logical value. Which most of the mainstream press realized 2 months ago.

You know... I wouldn't mind a more clear-headed and mentally stable lawyer taking Jack's place at this point. You know, someone who uses actual facts, someone who waits until there's proof about video-games affecting minds and causing violence.
...
But no.
Most lawyers whom are clear-headed and willing to do the right thing?
They're mentally stable and smart enough to know that they wouldn't stand a chance.
Besides.
With Jack, whom would we laugh at?

But I don't think he'd go away even IF people tried ignoring him.

Seriously I check the news every day hoping and praying to see headlines liek this "Jack Thompson Caught in Child Molestation Skeem, Friends With Micheal Jackson" or "Jack Thompson Killed In Carwreck" or some of the sort, but hopefully not "Deranged Counter-Strike Player Takes Jack Thompson Out While Yelling About Aim Bots and Wall Hacks"

No matter what he does he's gonna blame games, forget him. There's a million of those bible thumping nut jobs out there, you cant reason with those guys. Just ignore them and laugh occasionally to make yourself feel good about gift of sanity this day and age.

Again, I doubt he's going to let up even if people ignore him. If anything, he'll probably speed up once he sees he has no opposition. Besides, he's treading the line dangerously at this point with some of the quotes he's been spouting out lately. Sooner or later, the Florida Bar is going to deem the dude too mentally and ethically incompetent to be able to practice law ANYWHERE in the U.S.A. But that's not going to happen unless people make them aware of it.
And if he's ready this, lemme just say this too him...

Where is Jack's gum flapping now? I don't see him post anything in here yet? I thought he would jump at the chance to make a comeback saying,"I never actually meant what I said, it was supposed to be 'satire'." I find this funny, he gets his butt kicked again by a law enforcement agency now!
