SOE remembers original EverQuest artist

The official EverQuest web site recently noted the passing of Firiona Vie originator Keith Parkinson, who created many of SOE's classic EQ box-art designs and posters. From the site:

"Keith is best known for the cover art he created for many of the books in the Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms series published by TSR, along with numerous other covers for best-selling authors such as Terry Brooks, Anne McCaffrey and Orson Scott Card."

Keith may not have been responsible for the latest EQ designs, but his work likely prompted more than one curious male gamer to try the trailblazing (if, at times, graphically-challenged) MMO.
