God you people are freaking dense. Did any of you actually read the item description, or did you look at the pretty pictures and just like a normal ass jump to conclusions? He's advertising that he used fishing line to make it float, and that he's even including the fishing line he used.

It's called a joke people, look it up in your damn precious Wikipedia.

In the future, the VH1 show "I Love The 00s" will have a segment where they remember cheesy eBay gimmick auctions. Everybody will groan at how lame eBay was, and laugh at the idiots who paid for haunted video game systems and dolls on the auction site that was forced out of business in 2027 due to being overrun by illegal businesses, black market merchants, and scam artists. Then Kal-El Coppola Cage and Lourdes Ciccone (nee Ritchie) will goof around in segments about the day Wikipedia merged with Google and become sentient.

"This auction is brought to you by RetroNintendo.com and is for a working NES that floats when you attach the included fishing line to your ceiling. It does not actually defy gravity."

It was a joke to try to raise money for thier website. It doesn't take a heaping spoonful of intellegence to figure that out.
